wine tasting and Eugene visit

Hi everyone,
Michelle came back from training in Denver and have two weeks at home before going off to Oaxaca for a two weeks class. There are some problems in Oaxaca right now, teacher protests and some other things are combining into a big anti-government protest. Hopefully there are no problems for Michelle. Anyway, we went wine tasting at the Kings Estate winery near Eugene. I went with Nok last year when Michelle was at a conference in Eugene so this year I'm taking Michelle. Now they have a big tasting room and a restaurant. They don't want you to bring your own food anymore, we had to go down to the picnic area to have a little picnic. Anyway, Michelle had a chance to take a winery tour and looked at the cellar and the old tasting room.

After the winery tasting, we went to visit Jesse and Co. Meagan and Ryan are quite enegetic and both are very talkative. It was great to see them again. Hopefully they can come to visit us in Portland sometime soon.

Concerts in the park

Hi everyone,
Portland has free concerts in the various parks in the summer. There are 15 concerts this year in Washington Park. This is the rose garden, next to my old Envoy apartment. It is really nice up there. On Thursday we saw Linda Hornbuckle, she a great Blues/Jazz singer. Then on Friday we saw a musical from Broadway to Hollywood. They sings Broadway songs that goes to Hollywood, Michelle enjoy that one quite a bit. Anyway, Michelle will be in Denver for training for the next two weeks so I'll be with Lily, Zoey and Hobi by ourselves.....
until next time

sand castles

Our group at Intel took a Friday off to have a team event - Sand Castle contest.
Our Sand Castle was pretty boring, we didn't plan too well, but it was fun at the beach.
Canon Beach was very nice that day, not too windy. We went to have lunch at Mo's afterward.
I had clam chowder and fish sandwich, yum..

This one below is the Taj Mahal. They had mold and all kind of stuffs prepared.
