Whew!
We are busy fixing up the house and getting ready to move so no new blog for a while. We'll start moving small stuffs on May 29th and then move most of the big stuffs on June 1st. We are going to rent out the Marina Ct. house. The monthly payment is not too expensive so we should be able to handle renting it out. More to come in a few weeks.

APRIL FOOL!!!
They are just birds of some sort. hahahahaaaa.
This is Canon Beach, Oregon. It was raining on our drive out, but turned out to be a pretty nice day later on. Haystack rock on the right center of this picture.

We drove out to the beach on Sat. March 31st because this is whale watching week. We went to Ecola state park, it's a very nice little park. $3 day use fee.

Canon Beach in the background there. Ooops, I still have my snowboard tag on my jacket.
Joe & Michelle at the view point. We saw some whales this time! Actually, we saw whale spouts, water plume when whale blow water through their blow hole. Michelle said she saw a tail. Oh well, at least we didn't have to go on a boat. The whales were pretty far out there, maybe a mile. Orcas were much more playful (San Juan Island.)

Cheese!!!
(A Wallace and Gromit reference if you don't get it.)
We got an Italian cheese, a French cheese, bread, pears, and an apple for a picnic lunch. They were delicious. We ate in the car, brrrr... it was pretty cold out.

Testing out my 12x zoom camera. Nice little water fall on the beach.
Little light house.

Portland Japanese Memorial garden

This is the Japanese Memorial Garden near the Saturday Market in Downtown Portland. There were a lot of Japanese descent people living in this area, Old town/China town before WWII. They got sent to the intern camp. It was raining on this day, but it was still a beautiful stroll. Michelle liked it very much. This is about two weeks after first bloom, the petals are all on the ground already. Afterward we walked to the marina and had dinner at McCormick & Schmick restaurant. We got a $25 off coupon from the internet. 8)
