Full Bloom at the Japanese memorial park

After the car wash, I went to Macy to get a new pan, a shirt and a corduroy jeans. Then went to pick Michelle up and went to buy a few things from Trader Joe's and PetCo. Michelle wanted to try a Korean restaurant across from PetCo. It was called Country Korean Kitchen. We had Soon Dofu and spicy pork bulgoki. They brought out a bunch of chap chae side dishes. The Soon Dofu soup was really good too. We filled up and went home to take a nap. Michelle was out for a long time and I snoozed under the Kotatsu table.
So we decided to go see the Cherry blossoms again because Michelle saw them in full blooms from the train.

This is "Shanghai Bay" where they used to Shanghai (kidnap) people from bars and put them on a ship to work as a sailor in the old days.

Michelle decided to bust out her colorful scarf. It was windy today too.

Full blooms, very nice.

The cherry trees along the river is just starting to bloom last week. This week, they will be fully bloomed. We'll drop by again this weekend.

Frist weekend of spring 2009

This weekend is the first weekend of spring. Some plum and cherry trees are already blossoming, they are beautiful. Some pictures from March.

One morning, we had a clear day and suddenly the fog started rolling in. It was pretty cool.

Hobi is determined to get some cracker.

Today we went to find some plum blossoms. The little park near our condo, next to American Plaza, has about 10 plum trees, but they just started flowering. This one is on 23rd, we went up there to try Laurelwood pub. This is a Toastmaster meeting spot so Michelle wants to check it out. That's Joe. The star of this show. 8)
I got a Workhorse IPA, 80 IBU. Wow, it was strong and really good.
