July has been busy with many things, but not that much fun stuffs. We finally had to get comcast internet since the free Portland wireless shut down. Oh well, it's fast and we got free cable TV just in time for the Olympic next week. Michelle was sick the last 2 weeks and she is just getting better.
We went up to the Rose Garden in early July, the roses smell great!

Like my new favorite cap? Michelle didn't like it at first, she said it looks like Mao's cap. But she's used to it now.

The Salem World Beat festival. We drove down to Salem (1 hour) and went to listen to music and have food from around the world. We had some really good Taco Al Pastor, yummm.... We also had lumpia and fry bread, ooohh... greasy.... no more of that stuff for a while.

The pirate dance.... hmm..... Portland is big on Pirates, there is a pirate store, pirate bar, talk like a pirate day, etc...

Michelle's uncle and aunt, Randy and Daniel, came up to visit and we went wine tasting in Newburg. It was pretty nice, we went somewhat early and got home at a reasonable time. This is Rex Hill winery and it was a big hit with Randy and Daniel.
Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory - free show at the Washington Park. It was fun for a free show and only lasted 90 minutes, perfect lenght for a play.
